In 2022, at the age of 18, I visited all 44 countries in Europe within 7 months, visiting the capital of each country and climbing its highest mountain. I traveled only by bike and on foot. All by myself, I slept outdoors almost every night—without a tent, using only a sleeping bag and a sleeping pad. And I carried all my gear myself the entire time, including crampons and an ice axe. In 204 days, I covered just over 36,000 kilometers—an average of nearly 200 km per day. It was a journey full of challenges and moments of joy, full of adventure—a dog bite, food poisoning, drug dealers, arrest, heatstroke, loneliness, snowstorms, heat, getting lost, and countless nights spent in places not exactly suited for sleeping. A journey full of mistakes, emotions, encounters, and experiences that pushed me to my limits. And above all, it was a journey full of thoughts and insights!
